Hey, I’m Summer!
Hey, I’m Summer Rae (most people call me Summer!) I am currently based in the hills of salt lake city but always find my way back to the coast. I am an entrepreneur, wedding + lifestyle photographer/videographer who captures moments on digital and film cameras, cosmetologist, and a lash + brow aesthetician. You’re probably reading this and thinking ‘wait what?!’, i get it but i love it all. What I really love (and what i find similar in all of the things i do) is making others feel good about themselves in a raw way. Whether that be with photo, video, or enhancing someones lashes my main goal is for you to look at that photo or that mirror and love YOURSELF and love the way you feel. In your photos/videos I want you to feel the emotions in them and how you and your partner felt.
I’m also a sucker for thrifting and really recently i’ve been loving interior design. My husband (Jeff) and I bought a 1950’s home in the hills and are currently renovating it…. ourselves! It’s definitely been a process but it’s been so fun making the house our home (but i’m not going to lie, i can’t wait for it to be done haha!). We completely renovated the dirty old shed that was in our backyard and turned it into my She Shed/Studio, it’s pretty much my second home and where I do all of my work. Whether that’s taking clients for brows/lashes or editing photos, I love it! It is also available for day rentals! We currently are fixing up a 1970’s International Scout to hopefully pack our two pups in and hit the road (and when I say ‘We’ are fixing it up, i really mean Jeff is haha).
i am a dreeeeaaaaaammmmer and always shooting for the stars. I will be your biggest hype queen on your wedding day or a helping friend when you need one!
